Hi, I’m Ami!


Ami Matsuzawa-Danford is community consultant who gives advice and who works on community building for corporations. She worked as a community manager at Pinterest Japan and Facebook Japan, and her global clients include ASICS, Snapchat and Docomo.

She also is a co-director of LunchTrip, the non-profit organization to learn about different cultures through luncheons in Japan since 2008. She is the author of the book “Tips for Successful Community Marketing” (published in 2018) and gives speeches all over Japan to teach local people how to leverage communities.

She is also passionate about travel, doing “workation” (Work + Vacation) every month with her husband. Her column contributions appear in HuffPost, anan (Japanese website/magazine), and Senken Newspaper (Japanese fashion newspaper).
